Really like this book by Rayford Johnson. Most all that is written in it he supports with Biblical scripture. As someone who is a coach I can say that it can be a very good book to pick up to help get one’s life on track.
The audio version is excellent which I finished the whole 8hrs+ in a few days, but the hard copy is nice to have so I can pull it out and easily reference particular topics and verses.
I like how the author confronts problematic philosophies (like wokeism, communism) in modern culture directly, attributing them to spiritual causes, instead of trying to intellectualize the situation.
The book gives instruction on being successful, immersing oneself in the word of God, and defeating bad habits & sin.
As with every author you will have things you resonate with and things you do not. I like the talk on vibrations & frequency, which gives a modern day flavor to spiritual concepts. The interpretation of “yoga & tai chi” may not be every one’s cup of tea, me personally believing the subjects are more nuanced that being straight up evil.
Nonetheless, 99% of the book I agree with, and that’s not bad! The book is packed full of good information that would take a person decades to uncover. Highly recommend.
