This is a good, easy read however, I would have loved if he had provided more citations from primary sources or secondary sources when the beliefs of certain individuals and groups were being discussed. The author did a good job of citing Scripture when communicating Christians beliefs, but provided very few primary and secondary sources when discussing the beliefs of other groups, so you are left with either having to take his word for much of what he wrote, or doing a lot of research to try to find the sources he used which demonstrate much of what he communicated. This somewhat defeats the point of purchasing resources like this which should not only consolidate information that is accessible and important for the reader to know, but also provide them with a bibliography or simply even footnotes with a list of sources used when conducting research for the book, so that they can quickly identify the sources of specific information within it in order to check it to verify that what the author communicated is actually accurate.
