Rayford L. Johnson is the author of the book Thug Mentality Exposed, he is also a former Youth Correctional Counselor for the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for 13 years and a photojournalist for the Sacramento Observer Newspaper for 24 years and various other publications. Johnson, a licensed minister, felt compelled to start writing this book 10 years ago after noticing the sudden rapid growth and popularity of the thug culture.
